Here is my Vintage 1945 "The Martin Alto" Saxophone that I have to put up for sale. This instrument is in "Near Mint" condition for its age without any dings and has never been dropped to my knowledge. All of the pads are fairly new, and the instrument does not have any issues. The tone is unbelievably sweet, rich, and fluid. The etchings of flowers and vines are remarkably intricate and very visable to the eye. This instrument was always kept in the case and in a smoke free, pet free environment. I have never seen a handmade saxophone of this age in such beautiful condition. The instrument was recently looked over and received a seal of approval from a reputable company.
