This is a Martin Handcraft alto saxophone. It has not been played in many years so it will most likely need new pads and some adjustments. The bell measures 4 3/4in across. The sax measures 21 3/4ins long without the neck. The sax has an allover matte silver finish with engraving on the bell and a gold wash inside the bell. The keys seem to all move freely and have good spring. The sax has beveled tone holes and MOP finger buttons. One of the key guards many have been resoldered but I can't tell for sure. The finish is in very good shape. There is some minor oxidation around one of the tone holes and the gold wash appears light, it could use a good cleaning. The sax is straight and only has a few minor dings. It is marked Martin 99595 Low Pitch. I believe it dates to 1930. Also included is the neck that shows some finish wear and a mouthpiece that has some wear. The hard shell Bundy case is in nice shape.
