CF Martin & Co Soprano Ukulele with Case
Style 2 w/ ivoroid body binding
Most likely from 1950's

• Up for your consideration is a
  Vintage CF Martin & Co Style 2 Soprano Ukulele w/ case.
• I think this one is from the
  1950's, it has T frets, ivoroid-button friction
  tuners (50's style based on my research), gold
  martin headstock decal and stamped on the inside: "CF Martin Co,
  Nazareth PA."
• Total length is about 21 inches, all mahog body, triple bound
  top binding w/ ivoroid outer binding, single bound back, 12-fret
  rosewood fingerboard with 4 small dot inlays, and ebony
  nut & saddle.
• It's beautifully aged with
  nice patina look on the ivoroid body binding.
• In good, playable condition but
  there's 1 issue to point out. At some point in time, the uke was damaged in two places and they were repaired (pictured). Generally, I would say the repairs are fairly clean and well done but they're not invisible though. Both the damage and repair were already present when I acquired it, they happened before my time. In addition, there's a small smudge spot in the finish on the back of the headstock. Besides that, there's 2-3 very small & light finish scuffs on the body.
• Besides that, there's no other
  issues. It plays well, sounds great and the tuners function well.
  Action height seems to be pretty good for me. Overall, it makes a good
  impression!
• Comes with a old black chipboard case. It has a purple interior and is in fairly good condition. It may be original to the uke but I'm not 100% sure.
