Vintage Martin Guitar

This beautiful guitar is in excellent playing condition. 1984 model. Action measures 1/16th at the 12th fret.  Includes under-saddle pickup with end-pin jack (no mods/holes in body). Has the fat C neck for amazing playability and comfort! Spruce top has aged to a beautiful amber color (not the near-white of the new ones). Rosewood is stunning, much more flame than newer guitars. Original HSC, original manual with serial number. Orginal spec HD-28, scalloped bracing, solid sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, dovetail neck-joint, ebony fretboard, mahogany neck, bone saddle.  Everything is original on guitar as far as I can tell.  Guitar is 26 years old and sounds fantastic! Hardly any fret wear. Plays, looks, and sounds beautifully. It does have some finish checking, one finish crack on front below bridge (not in wood, and not visible from 4 ft away, see photos). Some smoke stain on the front of headstock, and a ding and some checking around the back of the headstock (again, no wood damage at all, just typical finish cracks). Nothing looks bad on the guitar, but I just wanted to disclose everything. The good thing is the guitar still looks fantastic and none of the relic is noticeable when playing.  Martin HD28, HD-28, HD 28, D-28
