Description: 1970 Martin D-18 dreadnought acoustic guitar.
Cosmetic
Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings. Surface scratches
& play wear near the sound hole. There are a few very minor side
cracks that have been professionally repaired by our luthier &
there's a slight bit of finish hazing on the treble side as well (please see photos).
Neck:
Soft V-shape mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & pearloid
dot inlays. There is some pitting in the fingerboard, but not too bad.
Frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life left in them.
Chrome Grover Rotomatic tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16"
nut width.
Body: Solid spruce top with solid mahogany back & sides. Top & back binding. Rosewood bridge; black pickguard.
Set Up: Professionally set up by our guitar tech & strung with brand new Martin Phosphor Bronze med light gauge strings.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action; neck plays well; tone is on the brighter side with nice punch.
Case: Non-original hardshell case included.
