Vintage 1969 Martin D-18S Acoustic Guitar

A really sweet short-scale, slotted headstock Martin!

1969 Martin D-18 S dreadnought acoustic guitar. Serial #249535

Cosmetic Condition: Very good PLUS condition! There is one 3" long crack in the lower bout near the strap peg. The crack does not go all the way through to the inside. There are some surface scratches on the face of the guitar, but nothing crazy (you can plainly see them in the included photos). The first and second frets have some minor fret-wear, but frets are otherwise in fantastic shape.

Neck: Wide mahogany neck (definitive C-shape) with micro side-dot markers. Gorgeous Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Neck joins the body at the 12th fret. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Slotted headstock with original Grover tuners. 1 7/8" nut width; 24.9" scale length.

Body: Elongated dreadnought body - solid spruce top with solid mahogany back & sides. Single black binding on the back & multiple binding on the top. Rosewood bridge. Black Pickguard.

Bridgepins: ebony with abalone inlay.

Set Up: Professionally set up by our guitar tech.

Playability/Sound: Nice, low action; neck plays & feels great - very comfortable. Huge sound! Gorgeous acoustic tone with lots of resonance & projection. This is a fabulous sounding guitar!

Case: Black hard-shell case included.
