A Vintage 1960 Martin 0-15 Mahogany acoustic guitar! Overall, this beautiful, well cared for, 50 year old Martin sounds wonderful and is in FAIR condition! In or tests, the wear and age related issues did not diminish the fine expressive tone of this guitar! It has a great warm, full tone!

Cosmetically, please look closely at the photos! All parts and hardware are original. The bridge is pulling up and there is some bellying. The neck joint is solid. There are many scratches, dents and dings on the body, particularly on the bottom half of the front and back. Some have nicked through the finish to the wood. The finish has taken on that wonderful, softly diffused, warm patina that comes only with age on fine, well cared for woods. Martin glued the tortoise grain celluloid pickguards directly to the top in 1960, then applied a clear finish over top and pickguard. This guitar shows the expected shrinkage of the pickguard resulting in a slight curving into the wood top. These pieces are smooth and solid together and our inspection did not reveal any other resulting damage nor deminishing of the sound.

This Martin comes nestled in its orange flannel padded, original, fitted hard case with a heavy black grained covering, three-ply wood body, neck rest, string pocket, brass lock and closures. All in excellent condition and work perfectly! There are a couple of lovingly worn picks in the string pocket for you!

• serial #174565 is stamped on the neck block inside the body.

• Mahogany top, back and sides. No binding used, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, semi-gloss finish, rectangle bridge.

• Body size “O” style: 14 Frets; 13 ½ inch width; 4 ¼ inch depth; 18 3/8 inch body length; 38 3/8 inch total length.

• Stamp "C.F. Martin & Co, Nazareth Pa. Made in USA” inside the sound hole against back of body.
• “Martin & Co. EST.1833”- decal logo on celluloid peghead veneer.
