Vintage Martin Guitar

Original vintage hardshell Martin case for a D 28, D 18 etc in great condition. I believe this case is from the early 60'S. These cases were sold as the original hardshell cases for Martin guitars in the early 60's. Cosmetically the case is in very good condition with a few scraps, the worst of which is on the bottom of the body of the case as seen in the photos. This scrap on the bottom is typical and does not detract from the overall appearance of the case. The leather covering on the case is in very good intact condition and only uplifting in a few small areas. The cosmetic stitching on the top lid has worn off on some parts of the case as seen in the photos but this does not effect the case covering in any way. The latches, handle, and hinges are in perfect working order and are in very good to excellent condition as seen in the photos. Structurally this guitar case is in excellent condition - The case wood is in excellent and undented condition. The interior is in very good condition and all material tethers from the case to lid are attached. They are fraying as seen in the picture but are fairly well attached. The inside compartment clothe tab to lift the inside lid has come off. All in all this is a great case and will protect your Martin guitar very well.
