This is a vintage, 1950-52, original gold lacquer, serial number 315389, Martin Alto Saxophone. The engraving on the ornate bell reads"THE MARTIN/IMPERIAL/ELKHART IND." The horn is LOW pitch (that's the one you want.) The instrument presents, the famous Martin beveled tone holes, its beautiful ART Deco String key guards,  Mother of Pearl finger tabs, the low B and B flat keys on the left side of the horn, and a much desired Front F. The neck is also in excellent condition, and presents a new neck cork. The lacquer is 98% plus intact,, and the horn would make a very lovely Christmas gift for a gifted youngster or a pro musician ( it would be an excellent doubling sax for a Pro.)
