Description:
Up for your consideration is a pre-owned 1966 Martin D-35. This guitar sounds fantastic. It has been to the Martin factory many years ago where some cracks were professionally repaired, and it appears to have been oversprayed, which has been worn through again in several areas. The pickguard is tight to the body. The guitar at this point is very structurally sound. There are no repairs needed with the exception of a small piece of neck binding. The neck has never been broken, although some players might want to reset it for lower action at this point, although I think it plays easily enough. The neck has a very slight forward bow, the frets are warn a bit on the first few frets in the typical places but there is no buzzing. There is a section of binding from the 12th to the 14th fret that needs to be reglued. Please look at all pictures carefully. At one point a "TRUE TONE SOUND" pickup was added, which has since been removed, the preamp is in the case, I don't know if it works or not...This guitar is being sold local pickup only, so feel free to stop in to ATOMIC MUSIC Beltsville location to inspect before purchasing! This is a wonderful guitar and will make it's new owner very happy. Thanks!
