Heres my 1959 Martin D 18, Andy Griffin played a 56 on the front porch back in Mayberry if I remember right. This one is in exceptionally good shape. No damage, cracks or repairs to the body or neck. I know the tuners have been changed at one point to Grovers, definetly an improvement but it was done long before I owned the guitar. Pickguard may not be original not for sure, it has an end pin jack mounted that went to a soundhole pick up at some point. Check the pictures there are a few play marks here and there on the guitar a few scratches but this is a beautiful instrument. Possibly refinished at some point, not sure. Check the pic's. The neck is in fantastic shape a little bit chunky, for me, but straight as an arrow and the frets have many, many years of life left. Guitar plays very easy and has tremendous tone, when you take a lead ride on this everyone will notice. Great patina on this vintage beauty.Comes with what I believe is the original hardshell case, a little beat but works very well. Please ask any and all questions.
