Vintage Martin Guitar

Selling a hard to find Martin 000-21 with adirondack spruce top, the original ebony bridge, ebony fretboard, original finish, herringbone rosette and backzip and brazilian rosewood from 1945.  This 000-21 has unique important features such as ebony freboard, bridge, and adirondack spruce top, and brazilian rosewood top and back binding which significantly differentiate it from later year 000-21 and make it sonically closer to a Martin 000-28 than a post war 000-21.  This guitar is in nice shape for its age and is cleaner than any war time or pre-war 000-21 that I can find online.  This guitar has the original very small bridge plate and original bracing and sounds tremendous, the adirondack spruce top brazilian rosewood combo aged for 65 yrs really makes this a very powerful guitar.  The top has dings and scratches and finish checking but the only crack is close to the binding at the edge on the treble side which has been repaired and stablized.  The back and sides also have scratches but structurally great shape, the back at the bottom there is a very tight and hard to see surface crack as seen in photo.  The neck is in great shape.  Guitar has been set up to play (string height 2.5/32 of an inch at 6th fret between top of fret and bottom of low E string, 4/32" at the 12th fret) and is ready to go, no string buzzing, medium action with saddle height (2/32") for further adjustments, rings super loud and responsive, best sounding 000 size guitar I've played.  Guitar comes with newer hardshell case.
