Martin Custom Performing DCPA4 Rosewood Dreadnought Acoustic Electric Guitar LN
Antique Vintage Martin 200
A Rare Find Indeed!!
Martin 200 factory race motor built in 1953.
Serial number EHO 9289.
Stamping on lower unit NPL 19.
Original Oakland Johnson bronze racing prop stamped M1.
This motor came out of a deceased hydroplane racers collection. He raced from the 1930's to late 1950's and this motor was hanging in his shop (how cool is that). The motor is not running. Prop and flywheel turn and not seized. It's missing some parts and the top of the cowling is cracked and the intergral fuel tank is dented. See pictures. Lower unit, racing nose cone and bronze prop in nice condition. A friend of the owners states "another item fell on top of the motor in his shed". You can use it for parts, hang it on your wall as a piece of vintage racing history art or restore to running condition. It's up to you!
The new owner can pick it up in Freeport NY or pay shipping and handleing fees.
