What is a JB MARTIN VELVET? 

 JB Martin is a family owned textile mill that has it's origins in Lyon, France but now also manufactures in Canada. These velvets are luxury weight. They usually sell to the trade, anywhere from $25 - $50 per yard.  And it isn't just the quality of the drapery, the colors are always new and exciting, the weaves are truly palatial. Twice the velvet panel of Restoration Hardware or Pottery Barn, you will never regret the value you get with these panels. 

We haven't had JB Martin Velvets in these scrumptious colors for a few years and were thrilled when when of our suppliers just got in about 2000 yards in the most remarkable rainbow of colors. We don't know anyone who is offering this quality of velvet panel at any price, and certainly you will never get a velvet panel from any drapery room for the prices we are offering. However, quantities in each style are limited so we suggest that you make your choice now as we can't guarantee that we will have any after these are sold. 

This set of draperies are rose, the fabric content is 66%Cotton 34%Rayon. There are about 16 panels in this color so don't let them get away  if this color is for you.

Depending upon your decor, these  panels would look wonderful trimmed in tassel or an onion ball trim and I have excellent prices on very fancy trims.

 INFORMATION YOU CAN USE WHEN PURCHASING DRAPERIES 

What size are the panels? 

The panels each measure 50 inches wide and 96 inches long. We can make longer or shorter panels upon request.  2 panels are good to cover window space of up to 60 inches. 

What style of drapery is right for you?

The type of drapery you need depends upon the type of hardware you are going to use to hang the draperies. We are happy to work with you to make sure your draperies will fit right and be easy for you to attach to your drapery hardware.

The draperies are  constructed with a rod pocket, with a pleater tape installed. The tape will allow you to insert your own hooks to create a casual pleat or attach rings to the panel without damaging the drapery itself. 

If you intend to shirr the drapery directly onto the rod, let us know and we will make the drapery with either a plain or Cape Cod  rod pocket (the Cape Cod is the one with the ruffled top) 

We can also add stitched pleats to any order of draperies. Stitched pleats are $5 each and each panel requires 5 pleats. 

LINING 

The draperies are sold with Roc Lon Rain No Stain* lining. It has UV inhibitor and also mildew resistant. We are very proud to offer Roc Lon linings, something that even the upscale drapery producers such as Horchow and Neiman Marcus have left off lining their draperies with. 

We can also add Roc Lon Double Pass thermal lining for an additional cost of $20 per panel. Our double pass lining is also a Roc Lon product and has the same UV and mildew inhibitor qualities as the Rain No Stain 

On a fancier drapery you may want to look at our fine "watered silk"  lining that can also be added for an optional cost. Just email us for colors and prices on our  high quality moire linings. 

SHIPPING 

We charge $20 on a set of 4 panels to offset the shipping costs. The panels will be shipped by FEDEX GROUND.
