Vintage Martin Guitar

Hello and welcome to my auction! You’re looking at a beautiful 1968 Martin 00-18C Guitar! (SN: 235730) This guitar is in superb shape for being 42 years old. It has a beautiful piece of Sitka Spruce for the top, mahogany back, sides and neck. It has a thin tortoise binding & Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. It is 100% original. This is truly a guitar that would please any collector but the incredible sound that it produces, tells me that was made to be played! 

Has a straight neck, the frets are in good shape. This guitar was lightly played at best and has been VERY well cared for. The only cosmetic flaw is on the lower left peninsula of the back where there is some slight wearing. Tuners work well and there are no structural issues. Some very slight surface checking on the back and that’s it. Comes with the OHSC. 

It has a very warm, mellow, & beautiful tone and is fun to play! I put a new set of strings on a week ago and it stays in tune perfectly. I just got it back from Robert @ Buchanans Music in Mesa AZ, he did a top-notch set-up on it and it plays better than ever!
