You sure don't see many of these! For your consideration today is very cool 1951 Martin T-15 Tiple. Probably all the rage back in the day, but I am sure someone will think this is as cool as I do. 10 strings in 4 courses. Half ukulele, half mandolin, but all tiple. Cosmetically this one is in good shape. There is consistent finish checking over the entire instrument. A couple repaired cracks(look worse in the photos than in person) and I think there are a couple small open cracks.  Showed it to those boys at Gruhns and they said it needed a neck set. But everything they try to buy needs a neck set right? The action is nice an comfortable in the lower registers and the strings are 1/8" off the frets at the 12th fret. Now I am sure she ain't perfect but hey it is still pretty darn cool to me. This one comes with a chipboard case that is probably not the original but it sure looks old. Get youself a cool 50's Martin Tiple!! You probably won't see many more! Check out the photos and drop me a line if you have any questions.
