1940 MARTIN COMMITTEE II TENOR HANDCRAFT SAXOPHONE IN  VERY GOOD CONDITION JUST INSPECTED SERVICED & ADJUSTED

DETAILS: This is 1940 MARTIN COMMITTEE II SAXOPHONE, SERIAL NUMBER 1377XX  the finish is likely  original . The area near the serial Number reads COMM II from my findings this would indicate this is a Committee II saxophone.  I can't find any problems with this Sax, it was well cared for.  I purchased it from the Original owners family, A big band player in the 1940's. The pictures should give a good look as to the horns condition but here is what I see. It has  less than normal wear for its age, it has been well cared, I see a few small dents only a very few. It appears to me that much of the lacquer is gone, the bell was polished  at one time afew years ago, The pads were replaced at the same time I have a receipt  for the work but no date !! within the last few years I am told.  It was just inspected and tested and adjusted by a qualified woodwinds repairman/ player and he wanted to keep this one but couldn't  and it will be ready to play right out of the case !!!! The neck has a matching # to the horn & this has the Lion and crown engraving. The case is original and in fair & useable condition. 1 center guard brace appears to be missing and am told it is not essential.
